Very nice old worlde charm hotel/restaurant.  Very nice and efficient friendly staff.  Food was very nice.

Kalamunda Hotel

Food and Service excellent. Beer nice and cold. Really liked the indoor seating away from the heat.

Standards have slipped a fair bit - bar service sloppy (did not know how to make lemon, lime bitters), chicken turkish sandwich was cold, small amount of chicken, cheese that was in between being melted and cold. Served with chips that were 99% cooked and lukewarm. Mother ordered grilled fish, served fried. When she queried with the waiter she was told 1) he would check if thats what she ordered, 2) that he would check if they could do again. Going to &#39;no table service&#39; is not working well.

The decor was really good as were the drinks &amp; service also it had a nice ambiance,but sadly that&#39;s were it ends. My pie size was ample but the vegetables were under cooked and the beef need more braising as it was tough and chewy,the flavour was nice. My wife ordered a steak sandwich which was huge with lots of chips.  Sometimes less is more -and its better to have quality over quantity and the turkish panini was too much and the steak was all grisly and tough and when asked by the waitress how was the meal I said disappointing and she could see how much  steak was left and said she would let the chef know but no apology.

Very pleasant environment. Good meals. Time taken for meals to come out was ok considering how many people were at the pub for Sunday lunch.
